  I gave my dad his baby boy 2008 and he still loves to hold him.dad is doing good its been a year and a half that my dad has been in a nursing home he will be having his 77th birthday oct 9th. Somedays dad sleeps alot and others he is so good I just want to take him home.  I look at his face and I can't seem to understand WHY WHY. his daughter vicki

  Good to hear from you.  I think this Alzheimer's must be one of the cruelest tricks nature can play on us.  It is having something taken away from you a piece at a time.  I remember the last time I saw my Grandmother alive.  I was visiting her in Vermont and thought for sure she knew who I was then when I had to leave she gave me a big hug ans said.  "I sure wish Jacque could come see me."  I am Jacque and she was very active part of my life.  I know that doesn't help except to remind you that you aren't alone and commend you for hanging in there.  Jacque
